Join our FREE Girls Only Primary School Squash Competition for Women's Squash Week this year to inspire young girls to get involved with Squash! We are offering 16 Schools the opportunity to take part in this Girls Only Squash Competition! The Competition is open to Pupils in Year 5 & 6. In sort, Schools select Teams consisting of 4 players (ideally two Y5's and two Y6's). Schools order these players in order of merit, with the strongest player at No. 1. In Round 1 teams will be split into Groups of 4 Teams. These Teams play each other in a Round Robin format. Each Match is 2 Games Only (regardless of the Game Score). That's to say the Match could finish 2-0 or 1-1 one way or the other. Players play to 11 points, Point a Rally Scoring, with Sudden Death at 10-all. Every point counts in each match, as the winning team is the team that can accumulate the most points in total, NOT the number of games won. The highest 2 Teams from each Round Robin move on to the Finals. The bottom 2 Teams go into the Plate Competition. The format repeats itself in the Finals with teams aiming to play-off for position in the final Match! FIXTURES Round 1 - Thursday 18th September, 2025 FINALS - Thursday 25th September, 2025 Matches will either be held at: 9am-12:30pm OR 1pm-4:30pm Venue: Macclesfield Leisure Centre Schools can enter a maximum of 2 Teams. This would be an "A" Team and a "B" Team. If entering 2 teams, please make sure to select 2 Teams on the Booking Form! All Equipment is provided, however Schools will need to make their own arrangements for travel and supervising their Children during the Event!
