Girls In Motion going from Strength to Strength!
You may or may not have heard about the Charity Organisation taking Women's and Girls Squash to exciting new heights! Girls In Motion have truly gone National with their drive to increase access and opportunities for women & girls to participate in squash across England.
Their most recent Event in 2025 was the latest instalment of their Girls In Motion Junior Meets, that brings together fifty junior girls, aged 5-17, from the regional squash community to socialise, form cross-club friendships, have a knock with a female pro, and of course play some squash!
It was another Sold Out event and has since seen a number of other Events spring up across the Country as the word spreads that Squash Girls Can!
Over the years we have had a number of INSPIRE Juniors attend these events and all come back with a huge smile on their face and a deeper passion for the game of Squash! The power of these events can't be underestimated!
Don't just take our word for it. Here is what Evelyn, aged 9, had to say about attending her first Girls In Motion Meet:
"I liked the Girls in Motion event, it was really good fun. There were interactive squash courts that you could play games on. It was really cool playing squash with a professional player on the glass court. The coaches were really kind and gave me some good tips on how to improve my squash. I also enjoyed watching Tesni Murphy playing a game with some of the coaches. It was lovely to meet lots of other girls who enjoyed playing squash too. If you have the opportunity to go to a Girls in Motion event, I would really recommend it." - Evelyn, Age 9
