The 2025 England Aspire Team Championships brought together the rising stars of junior squash from across the country, and this year’s competition in Warwickshire was no exception - full of intensity, passion, and promise.

Representing the North West region, the U13, U15, and U17 squads faced tough competition over the weekend but showed impressive grit and teamwork. The region finished 6th overall, with each age group building vital experience on the competitive stage! That's an improvement on last years 7th placed finish and shows the North Wests continuing development!

Among the standout stories from the event was the performance of the North West U17s team in their final Match, who secured a hard-fought victory to claim 7th place. Their effort was particularly meaningful for the Inspire Squash Academy, as two of our own Junior - Madisen and Georgia - proudly featured in the team and secured 2 important wins in the last round match.

It was especially poignant for Madisen who played in her last Aspire Championships.

Elsewhere, both the U15 and U13 teams battled through challenging draws and ended the tournament in 6th place in their respective categories. Collectively, the squads’ consistent efforts helped the North West region achieve their best place overall finish at the Championships for a long time.

The England Aspire Team Championships continue to serve as a key development platform for young talent across the regions, and the Inspire Squash Academy is proud to be a part of the programme, assisting on Squads and Coaching at the Team Championships.
