Join our Girls Only Primary School Squash Competition at Macclesfield Leisure Centre for Woman's Squash Week this September! We are offering Schools the opportunity to take part in the second instalment of our BRAND NEW School Squash Competition! The Competition is open to Pupils in Year 5 & Year 6. Schools select Teams consisting of 4 players (ideally 2 from Y5 & 2 from Y6). Schools order these players in order of merit, with the strongest player at No. 1. In Round 1 teams will be split into 2 Group. These Teams play each other in a Round Robin format. Each Match is 2 Games (regardless of the Game Score). That's to say the Match could finish 2-0 or 1-1 one way or the other. Players play to 11 points, Point a Rally Scoring, with Sudden Death at 10-all. Every point counts in each match, as the winning team is the team that can accumulate the most points in total, NOT the number of games won. The highest Teams from each Round Robin move on to the Finals. The bottom Teams go into the Plate Competition. FIXTURES Round 1 - Thursday 10th September, 2026 FINALS - Thursday 17th September, 2026 Matches will either be held at: 9am-1pm Venue: Macclesfield Leisure Centre Schools can enter a maximum of 2 Teams. This would be an "A" Team and a "B" Team. If entering 2 teams, please make sure to select 2 Teams on the Booking Form! All Equipment is provided, however Schools will need to make their own arrangements for travel and supervising their Children during the Event!
